• Complete and specify visibility models in spatial, temporal, & color domains and integrate advances in eye-movement and image processing science
• Develop formal models of heading and depth perception in aviation displays and virtual environments
• Complete 3-D audio tools for robust environmental modeling
• Integrate accomplishments and reports for design guidelines as needed for L1 milestone

Cognitive Models and Metrics

• Develop formal models of concurrent task performance
• Validate models with advanced tools such as fMRI
• Coordinate accomplishments and output with HAIR program

Physiological Factors

• Validate engagement indices in realistic tasks
• Develop formal models for prediction of hazardous states for improved task design and performance optimization
