B.A. in physics Harvard College, June 1980.
M.A. in psychology, University of California at San Diego, June 1982.
PhD. in psychology, University of California at San Diego, September, 1986.

Honors & Awards:

Ninteenth place in US Math Olympiad, 1976.

Rotary scholarship recipient, school year 1976-77.

ARVO travel fellowship recipient, 1983.

IBM computer science research graduate fellowship recipient, 1983-1985.

Recipient of M.G.F. Fuortes travel scholarship, (NIH), to attend course on Vision and Image Understanding given by the International School of Biophysics at the Ettore Majorana Centre in Erice, Sicily, July 1984.
